Hello! I am McKay Price, a PhD Candidate in Finance (support areas in Econometrics and Real Estate) at Florida State University and am seeking a tenure-track faculty position with research and teaching responsibilities (50/50). In addition to doctoral study at FSU, my academic background includes a master’s degree from MIT in Real Estate Development and an undergraduate degree in Finance from The University of Utah. My dissertation is comprised of two essays that deal with earnings announcements, conference call content, information uncertainty and the post-earnings-announcement drift anomaly. As an instructor, I have won teaching awards at Florida State at both the College and University levels. I also have six years of professional experience which includes managing the commercial real estate development process for Target Corporation in Boston, New York, Philadelphia and Washington DC, as well as commercial real estate brokerage in Salt Lake City.
